neswulf's pageWelcome to my page. I'm currently working on creating a couple of species of humanoids, including their history, customs, a timeline with prominent dates and so on. Eventually, I hope to write some stories with the basis for them being these planets, creatures and their interactions. Love, war, politics.. hopefully I can create it all to some degree.
Monninga: A humanoid species from the planet Hwælham in the Scytel system. They average 6ft in height, with male and female Monninga looking similar except for the females having softer features. They are of high intelligence, having explored their solar system, colonised other planets, and settled in a nearby system, Fyrearn (61 light years away) on the planets Westworuld and Mōrlond. In their year 4229, a cataclysm occured affecting Hwælham and Mōrlond, plunging the Monninga on these planets back into an age without technology. The Monninga on Westworuld (Fyrearn) and Hastelc (Scytel) still survive in the fiftieth century in various levels of technological advancement. To the tribes of Mōrlond in the years following the cataclysm, little is known of their ancestors - they refer to them as 'The Elders' and are unaware of their relation to them. Baldén: The original inhabitants of Mōrlond, and referred to by the Monninga as 'The First Ones'. They are dwarf like humanoids, averaging 3.5ft in height, are pale skinned, stocky, have good eyesight and live in vast settlements connected by tunnels at various levels underground. Their level of technology is adequate for the way they live - they are masters of cog and gear technology, and have been so since time immemorial - though the history of themselves - their records - go back many thousands of their years.
Wolf-folk: The Wolf-folk are a species of wolf like creature from Hwælham. They co-exist with the Monninga, though in ancient history they were bitter enemies, at war, before the coming of the Gods. They are of a good level of intelligence, possessing the ability to speak and reason, though they do not produce their own technology over and above what they need to survive - namely metal weapons. They do, however, make use of Monninga technology. The Wolf-folk can stand and walk on their hind legs, though they run on all four. Their average standing height on hind legs is between 5 and 6 feet.
The Eġe Not much is known about the Eġe or Doom men as they are sometimes called, apart from what they look like, and some of their abilities. Their first appearance to the Monninga was on Hwælham in the year 612. Their origins are unknown, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. The majority of Eġe appear to be around 7ft tall, though when they appear in large numbers, their are occasionally 12ft individuals amongst them. They wear black robes covering all but their skull like faces - believed to be an exo-skeleton of some type (the 12ft individuals have slightly different black robes with a red head section), their faces have eyes and noses, but no mouths. They communicate psychically. They do not walk, but instead float a few inches above the ground - it is not known whether they have legs under their robes. Individuals who have had close contact with them, or got caught in their stony silent stare, have dropped instantly dead. The Monninga believe that the Eġe take the very soul of an individual. The larger Eġe are capable of causing destruction by firing bolts of lightning. Private Nachricht an neswulf sendenIn neswulf's Microblog schreiben |
